I am thinking of going to these apartments next year. I have plenty of reviews of the apartments but my husband is in a wheelchair and so i am curious about getting from the apartments to the promenade area. Does anyone know if it is a level walk or will we have any hills to climb. I usually go to tenerife but i fancied a change.
It is a few years since I went to Matagorda but if memory serves me well, I think it may be slightly downhill from the apartments to the promenade.

Obviously you have seen from their website that they cater for wheelchair users very well indeed. Matagorda is relatively flat, and there should be no problem getting from the resort and the promenade. It is a way out of Puerto del Carmen, so is a fairly quiet area.
