How daughter wants us to get a christain dior handbag (copy) how do we go about this and where is best place to go. We are staying in Candolim and we go on thursday 6th jan (3 days!!)

Hi, I'm going to Goa in 4 weeks for the first time and am hoping to get some copy handbags made for myself and friends.
Can anyone recommend a good shop to have these made.
Also, if I want one copying do I need to give them a picture and if so, where do I get a copy of say a Gucci, Luis Vitton, etc bags from?

We have been going to Goa for the last 3 years and my wife always gets her handbags from original fakes in candolim and they have always been very good. This year, however, after reading advice from Vegasone on this site, she went to the handbag shop next to Guru jewelers near the Magnum resort, and these bags were even better!! Dont know where you could get photos from, but that would be best if you wanted specific ones. The shop had all the latest designs and we brought some excellent Radley bags back for our daughter and her mates.

Where is Magnum resort? We are staying in Baga. How much did you pay for the bags roughly, can you remember. If there are really cheap I can see I'll end up with an order of 100 or more!!

Hi gardner1 try the above links I love LV and found these sites really good the first one is the official LV site the second one tells you all about fakes so you will know if you have got a good one. but there is nothing like the real thing.

Magnum resort is in the centre of Candolim - any taxi driver will know it.On the side of the road is a 'parade' of shops with the Magnum hotel entrance in the middle,from Baga about 100 rupees in a taxi.
The shop is called a touch of leather owned by Rambo, the goods are great however dont buy his fake watches they look great but last about 2 weeks.
However got a great leather jacket for £75 made to measure from a varcace picture.

my bag man is superb, I had a luella mulberry made last year and now he sells so many of them . I gave him a pic in Feb and he made me a roxy bag. make sure its a good pic and he will do his best.
Wonder if they will run me up a pair of shorts with nice shoulder straps (in red would be nice )

Forgot to say - must be soft leather !!

Just to let you know, you won't see any Luis Vuitton bags on display in the shops but you can still get them. Chap in Original Fakes told me that hefty fines were given out last year to anyone who was found to be selling them.
