Hi there we have a young famil of 9/8/3 yrs old and stayed in ALtomar 1 around 2 years ago . Loved it especially the pool and facilities and locality of restaurants /shops /market etc. Only real issue was cardiac hill to get to the main beaches. I do not want to hire a car this year as seen all the main sites locally last time around. WIll use the bus /train more now that our wee man is fit to walk and no buggies etc !
Really liked the beach at btm of hill think its is Carabassi ? or Los Areanales? - the one with the long board walk.
Also when in close to town and some lovely beaches there too think this is los arenales area?
ANYWAY i was wondering what urbanisation /area is best suited for us . A good pool would be number 1 priority in close prox to house. Alos i would like to be able to walk to local shops and restaurants and BEACH easily. -so Altomar 1 is out based on teh beach walk! ANyone got any good options for us please? Many thanks folks
That is one of the problems with Gran Alacant - up the top of the hill to be near the supermarket but stiff walk up the hill after a day on the beach. There is now a tourist land train that will take you to the beach and there is also a bus that runs a similar circular route. I would have a look at the Novamar area of Gran Alacant, 10 - 15 minutes walk to the Carabassi beach along the flat and a 15 - 20 minute walk into Los Arenales.
thanks - pls remind me IS the Carabassi beach the one at the btm of cardiac hill ie with the long raised boardwalk to get to? THanks Do you know anyon renting that I could contact directly? Thanks again
Have sent you a PM.
