Hello,
I am off to Paphos at the end of April, staying at the Daphne apartments. I understand that this place is in a good location, and I know that it is a basic place to stay, which is what we were looking for.
Can anyone tell me if it will be very noisy at night due to it being on a busy road? Hope there aren't many of those bars that play loud music until daft O'clock.
I am hoping that because we are going so early in the year, then it will be reasonably quiet, but having said that, I don't expect it to be silent due to its location.
Finally, what will the weather be like end of April/first week of May?
I have had a look on the weather reports but sometimes I do not believe them because years ago I was in Goa and it was in the mid 30's, but the weather reports were saying 28degrees!

If it's the Daphne Apartments on Vasileos Constatinou XIII you are in Paphos town (Pano Paphos), not the tourist area (Kato Paphos).
You will be quite some distance from a beach or tourist restaurants. It will almost certainly be quiet.

I thought the Daphne Apartments were up the side street not far from the Macdonalds on the seafront. I seem to think it's not far from Pizza Hut but back a street or so from the main road....
If so, then you're about 5 minutes walk from Bar Street and 10 at most from the harbour.
As for the weather, April can sometimes be quite hot - similar to a good summers day in UK (around 25c and sometimes higher) but the evenings may feel a little cool after the first few days once you become accustomed to the daytime temperatures. Certainly for me as a resident I would not consider a dip in the pool. I'm positive there will be tourists in the sea and swimming pools.

So, close enough to everything. I don't think you will get too much road noise but there are a few bars around that area. It's the start of the tourist season so I think you will probably be okay.
