I've stayed at three different hotels at Sorrento, but the best one I've stayed at for a great central location is the 3* Hotel Eden. I've stayed there three times.

It's set just around the corner from the main street at Sorrento, yet it's tucked away in a quiet area with a lovely drive up to it.
The hotel garden is so lovely to sit in ... we would often sit there to 'recover' from a day in the hot sun.
There is a short passage way by the hotel reception which takes you right onto the main street, you open the big door at the end and there you are!

The Eden has friendly staff and good food, the rooms are basic but clean.
You share the pool with the Hotel Carlton next to it.

It's the location of the Eden which won it over for me ... just great!
