My 17 year old daughter had been booked to go to Benidorm for 1 week in June
However, she currently only has her existing 5 year passport which runs out in August
I know some countries have a "six-months left" rule on passports but I am lead to beleive that Spain is not one of them and as long as her passport is valid for the duration of her stay she should be okay
Can anyone please confirm this or otherwise?
Many thanks indeed
However, some airlines or tour operators stipulate a minimum 6 month passport validity requirement for all destinations, irrespective of the legal entry requirements of the country being visited. That requirement may form part of their booking conditions, so you might want to check out the website of the airline or tour operator concerned.
