Hi,
Just wondered what shopping is like over there? I.E perfume, clothes etc? Staying at sunny beach

safest thing to do if shopping in SB is to assume that everything is fake.

Not trying to slag the place at all. love going back, year after year, but I wouldnt part with any large amount of cash for any "designer" goods either at street stalls or in the nice looking air conditioned malls.

My son came back from Sunny Beach today,he said clothes,although fakes were not much cheaper than the real thing.He only bought some fake Oakleys.He spent quite a bit on fakes whilst in Turkey 2009.

Some of the jeans are ok. think they were about £25 a pair.

compared o.k. with UK bought versions.

As per justjoe's first reply, "safest thing to do if shopping in SB is to assume that everything is fake" - pharmacies & specialist stores in the cities usually sell original, branded, products but anything in the resorts should be considered to be suspect.

There is a perfume shop on the beach road close to the Chaika Beach Hotel which is ok but better choice and price if you go into Bourgas for the day.
