There's some excellent new reviews over on Tripadvisor! Sounds amazing.

We're off to the Alba Royal in November, so if there's anything you want us to find out, let me know.

Hi Marion the only thing we are really concerned about is that having paid a premium for a standard seaview room we can't find out if this is a full seaview,or partial seaview, Sometimes operators sell seaviews and it turns out to be a view you have to crane your neck out the balcony to see the sea! Even Thomas Cook couldn't tell us. lol! Did have a look at the most recent reviews, it does look fab! thanks!

If you look at the position on Google maps, it looks like they have many full seaview rooms...

The Royal is closer to the sea than the Resort or the Queen.

Probably best to make a room request nearer the time. I'll certainly try and suss it out when we're there.

Hi. Having just returned, I think you would be unlucky to have a neck-craning seaview room. We had a superior deluxe room with double balcony, so half of it was seaview and the other half was of the zoo next door! No problem though... you only heard the animals/birds on the balcony, not in the room with door closed.

We had a really great time, even though it rained for four days.

Hi Marion, thanks for taking the time to report back, glad you had a good time!We have booked a standard sea-view room and are looking forward to a peaceful holiday, so hope the inhabitants of the nearby Zoo are on valium for that fortnight! Are the balconys big enough to sit out on? is the beach sandy? whoops sorry for the questions! Is it a long walk from sea rooms to the complex restaurant and bars?

Best!

Yes, big balconies and beach is sandy. Beach is pleasant few minutes' stroll. Nowhere is too far... look at the Google map above.

Enjoy!
