I have only been home a fortnight and I have booked to go back on the 1st October! Hoping the weather will be better than last October.

We're off to Icmeler on Friday,can't wait.We've booked flights for next May but haven't booked accommodation yet,we haven't been self catering before in Turkey so we'll have a look round and see if anywhere takes our fancy.

Started packing last night, just need to wash a few clothes tonight (most haven't been worn for over a year and are in need of a freshen-up lol). Will be buying a few T-shirts and shorts while over there so only need to take a few things for first few days...
All stocked up on sun-cream, mozzie spray, after-sun and toiletries, just need the sun now lol

Flying out at 9:15pm on Saturday evening, setting off to airport at around 3:00pm - 3:30pm to get to airport parking site for 6:15pm. It should only take around 2 hours to get there but I like to air on the side of caution.

Printed out my itinerary and flight tickets so all set to go now... Hope they're stocking up on Efe's in Turkey coz we'll be drinking plenty lol

2 more sleeps, getting very excited now, first oversea holiday in 4 years, my wife actually said yesterday "are we really going away?"

Going to marmaris in 8 days sooo excited! any one else going or ever stayed in the club exelsior... what did yous all think?? xx

You're going on their honeymoon, I think the best thing you can do to make it special for them is to leave them alone (especially at night lol)

hi all

only 2 more days and we will be back in marmaris, special time for us, our 40th wedding anniversary, i had 2 options, have a big party for friends and family, or 10 nights in marmaris, no brainer really,we can have a party anytime.
been to marmaris every year on our anniversary for the last 16 years so i really could not miss going.

already started looking for 2012.

Have a fantastic 40th Anniversary that will be us in 3 years time 37 in november for us . But no hols as wife will be working
no time off in School terms . Roll on the days we can go when we want not for at least 8 years though since retirement age went up .
