Can anyone point me in the right direction for the speedy boarding check in desk at Luton?

Does anyone have any inside info on when July/August 2012 flights from London to Dalaman will be released? Last year it was beginning of October, but seeing as June 2012 flights were released earlier this year I wondered if July ones may be released earlier than last year. I am registered for alerts but I never get alerted on the day the flights come out. Thanks

Speedy boarding only applies to the boarding gate where those with priority boarding board the aircraft before others, in a pre-determined sequence. It doesn't apply to check-in desks so just use the one allocated to your flight.

Oh, right. I thought it had a dedicated check in desk.

Do Easyjet use one type of plane? Flying to Sharm and wondered on seat configuration.

At Stansted there is a dedicated check-in desk and the service is called 'speedy boarding plus', but sounds like this isn't available at all airports.

Aircraft information is on our What Aircraft? guide. It'll be an Airbus A320-200.

Does anyone know the price of Amber Leaf or Golden Virginia Tobacco on Easyjet flights?

Hi, we're flying Easyjet from Bristol to Palma in October. Haven't used them before and a bit apprehensive (we've always done package holidays). Is there anything we should know? We've booked speedy boarding and have a 5 year old.

You appear to have everything covered and should have no problems at all, just abide by their terms and conditions concerning luggage as you do with any low cost airline. We use Easy Jet frequently and have never had a moments concern, enjoy Mallorca.

You need to make sure that your API details have been completed before the day of travel. If you didn't supply indvidual passport details etc. when you booked you should go into the "Manage Bookings" section on the website and fill in the details required. This also applies on a package but sometimes they do it at check-in, one reason why charter check-in deadlines are so much longer than easyjet's! You will get an email from easyjet a few days before you go which shows whether or not it's done so you shouldn't forget. Make sure your email spam filter is either off or set to allow everything from easyjet.com as they may also email changes in flight times, although that's unlikely this late in the season.

Hi... We flew with ej in August and boarded after the speedy boarders as my daughter was 5. I asked staff and they infomred me that anybody travelling with a child 5 or under go after the sb's... Not sure if this helps anybody. I have booked again for next summer and have decided not to opt for sb. :cheers

So Ruth24 are you saying we've wasted our money booking speedy boarding because we can't go first anyway because of travelling with a 5 year old? If that's right then surely we should be entitled to a refund on the cost of SB. We only paid for it so we could make sure we were together and first (well one of the first) to get on the plane. They shouldn't have taken the SB payment for our 5 year old if that's right.

You will be able to board first, with other speedy boarders. The point Ruth24 is making is that, since anyone travelling with a child of 5 or under is permitted to board in the next group, just after the sbs you really don't need to pay for it.
