757-200
I would not go for row 40, it doesn't recline!
Maybe so Mike, but no knees going into the back of my seat, no kids pulling hair etc. These are the benefits i find sitting there.
I am flying with TC for the first time ever on Thursday 22/09 and wondered what aircraft I would be on from Manchester on tcx414 to Sanford. Also I am returning on 6th October on tcx415 and would be really thankful if you could let me know what to expect.
Thanks
Lynn
I'm off to Mexico Sun 2nd Oct
Flying GLA-CUN on flight TCX628
Can anyone tell me what aircraft I'll be on and if Seats 9B/C (exit row) are any good?
Thanks
Welcome onboard
GLA-CUN-GLA (TCX628/9) are operated by Airbus A330-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

We are travelling to Cayo Coco on TCX 174 on 6th October 2011. I have booked seats on row 16 going out and row 4 on return, are these windowless seats?
Also, we can check in online from the 28th, has anybody checked-in online? Just a few questions:
Has anyone any experience of using this service?
Where is the bag drop off?
Will we still be in the lottery for premium seats?
We are staying at Premier Inn the night before so what time do we go to airport to drop the bags off?
Sorry for all the questions but we have never checked-in online before and I'm just a little worried about doing this are there any drawbacks?
Thanks for any replies,
Anne
Row 16 has a window, but may only be partial. Row 4 is full window. Bag drop-off is (assuming it's MAN you're flying from) is desk 1 in T1 with the Thomas Cook desks. It's clearly labelled on the screens. You can drop bags off on the morning of your flight, from 4 hours before your departure but there's no need to be there that early, 2-3 hours is plenty. Online check-in is straight forward. Just enter all your details, print your boarding cards and that's it.

Thanks for that Dazbo, I think we will give it a try.
Can anyone tell me what type of aircraft is doing Manchester - Las Vegas TCX124 tomorrow?
Thanks
Sunaddict,
Great thanks for the speedy reply Darren
I'm sorry if this question has already been answered, but I can't find an exact match! We were due to fly to Cancun in August, but due to unforseen problems did not go. We have just received our insurance payment and are in a position to rebook. Originally we were flying on a flight with 33" legroom, and IFE, but I'm unclear is this likely to be the same now? I need to know this before I book if possible, as my husband is 6'4" and this is a deal breaker for him , otherwise we'll try Thomson. It would be Gatwick to Cancun, probably in October. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the same aircraft is used (long haul A330-200). All the aircraft dtails are on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Ok, thanks for your quick reply,
Hi, we are flying to the Dominican Republic from Manchester on Saturday 1st Oct. Does anyone know if Thomas Cook offer an upgrade to your choice of inflight entertainment. I have looked on the Thomas cook magazines and it says 'Additional movie' on some films. Does anyone know the cost of this. Thanks.
As far as I know Thomas Cook do not offer upgrades on inflight entertainment.
There's no upgrade on IFE on TCX as there's no longer any premium service. The only aircraft to have a system capable of this is G-TCXA, that's assigned to short haul for the summer.
