Ooh I didn't realise that people actually holidayed in the shacks. I thought they were like little huts on the beach selling refreshments

Shirley....we're talking about two very different things here.
Shacks - restaurants built usually on the beach providing food, drinks etc served either at your sunbed or on a table sitting in comfortable chairs with your feet in the cool sand (Wow, I'm almost there now)
Beach Huts - Usually a small selection of temporary huts but can be there all year around. Found only in the far northern beaches or in the south. None in Candolim, Calangute or Baga (Think that's right). You pay by the night usually anything from 1500rps to 6500rps per hut. At peak times, they only take block bookings rather than one-night stays.
This is where we're staying next March.

Sounds good idea to me, although no holidays booked for a long time now (apart from day trip to France Christmas market)

A good idea. Forgive me for suggesting that the accommodation pages need to be rationalised somewhat.
For example the Sofitel in Hua Hin appears as both "Sofitel Centara Grand Resort" and "Sofitel Centara Grand Resort and Villas", indeed on the destination list "Hua Hin" appears twice, as does "Cha-am", Chiang Mai" etc.
Not a criticism, but hopefully helpful.

Yep, I'm aware of the duplicates in both hotel names and resorts.
I'm currently amending the database to remove the duplicates but in the meantime it's not too relevant as which ever one you choose you'll still show to others visiting the same area.
Provided all goes to plan, and I envisage no problems, this should be sorted soon and once done the section will come out of beta.
