james 84,
Aircraft are swapped and changed pretty much weekly so it's impossible to say this far out. There are only slight variations in the position of a couple of seats and toilets so it makes little difference realy as to exactly which configuration you have. The main difference is the seat design.

The last time i booked seat numbers with Thomsons i only called once and booked the outbound and inbound at the same time has this changed and you have to call twice????
qatarman,
When I called a few weeks ago, I've asked if I could do both journeys in one go but the guy I had on the phone told me to call back 2 weeks later for the return ... So I don't know if they have changed anything or if I only was unlucky ...
I've had to ring twice. Once for the outbound at 90 days prior, and then the inbound at 90 days prior.
I had to call twice because the return flight was not within the 90 days of departure.
Do you still get blankets and pillows on long haul flights?
Mobor One,
Good. Thanks Darren.
I suppose the lesson on booking seat numbers is to call 90days from your return flight, why do these companies keep messing with the system?? If the climate that has Thomas Cook on its knees carries on tour operators will have to have a very good look in the mirror (not the newspaper either) they might discover Customer Service.
I've always had to call twice if the return flight hasn't been within 90 days. If you leave it until it is, you only need call once. As Julmops has said, ring at 9am an they are usually quick to answer.
Do you know where the flight will be coming from and the flight number before it is turned around to become the Goa flight?
The aircraft operates LGW-Mombassa-LGW (TOM076/7) prior to your flight (LGW-GOI-LGW TOM052/3).

Just wondering if any specific aircraft / registrations had been assigned to our flights yet please as the first one is only 6 days away.
TOM1558 2.12.2011 09.55 NCL - TFS
TOM 637 19.12.2011 19.15 Bridgetown to Newcastle
And secondly and perhaps more importantly will there be any inflight entertainment on the TOM1558 please ? I thought I somewhere that this was being stopped.
Thanks
Please refer to your previous posts. IFE was withdrawn at the beginning of this month from short haul services. You'll find further information on our What Aircraft? guide.
Darren
Thanks for the reply - I did check back and it said that the specific aircraft was not known until nearer the departure - I just guessed that at 6 days before the flight the actual specific aircraft to be used would have been allocated.
The reg's are allocated the day before but can and regularly do change up until a few hours before. The 757 are all identical inside only two have green seats and the ex-thomsonfly have two extra seats that are not used. Makes very little difference.
Hi, could you advise which plane it might be for TOM122 on 6th December please??
I thought you were flying to Cancun on the 8th December, as per your previous post? G-OBYH (Boeing 767-304/ER) has been operating the flight for the last month.
Darren
Thanks for info, we had to alter our dates by 2 days as the wife didn't want to be arriving back on Christmas Eve!!
