Hi all,
Well it is that time of the year, I am off on 25th February for two weeks of rock all, and boy do I need it.
As before, almost all the posts here relate to the north, so as I am going to be staying in Cavelossim, I thought I would ask for any restaurant suggestions, both positive and negative in and around Cavelossim (or anywhere in the South).
One other point, I read about meetings, carvery etc, but only ever in the north. What about us southeners??!
Maybe we could sort something out on here....who else is going to the south, and when? I am friendly with one of the shack owners in Cavelossim, and assuming he is still there (he has been for the last 10 years at least) I am sure we could arrange something or other...
Mikes Place..... nice enough, gets busy when entertainment is on and food can be hit & miss
Octivas.... only been once (last year) all 4 of us had lovely meals .....nice setting
Riverview...lovely setting on the river Sal, really nice food (great seafood selection)
Joes Rivercove .... a 5 mins taxi ride but worth it, lovely setting on river Sal... great food (great seafood selection)
there's a chinese place not sure of the name(opposite Haathi Matal) cheap & cheerful, really good food ...great value
there are plenty of other places in and around Cavelossim but these are a few we've tried and enjoyed.....we are in Candolim for 2 weeks then down to Cavelossim for our last week....leaving from Manchester next Sunday (12th)...can't wait....Keith
