We didn't have any snow, but every day was bitterly cold - spent most of my time outdoors with a hat on. The brandy to warm up was lovely though. We've just got back today and had a thoroughly enjoyable time, not really doing much at all, just a bit of chilling. Chester certainly has a mix for everyone, and the Mill Hotel lived up to our memories of it. We had three super evening meals at La Tasca, Picolinos and the Chester Tandoori.

Thanks to everyone who helped before hand, with the weather, reastaurants e.t.c
I always think we don't appreciate what is on our doorstep. We avoid going in to Chester as much as possible (usually just to see the bank manager) even though it's not much more than walking distance. But it always looks good on the telly, and people from away seem to like it.
And in the other direction we have Welsh mountains. Lucky or what?
