I'm new so please go easy on me!

Despite it now being the beginning of spring as a family we still haven't decided on a destination for our holiday in the summer, let alone booked anything. The past two years we have been to Tenerife and this year we'd like the same type of holiday but instead in a different place. The holiday will be for two parents and a 16 year old son during the first two weeks of August.
We have come up with some ideas between us and looked at some brochures, we've considered Turkey(marmaris in particular), Cyprus and Fuerteventura. Does anybody have any info/comments on these places and which is best, best resort, what its like and possible hotels? We will however consider anywhere as we're open to suggestions, so just suggest away!
