Then one year we wanted to go abroad at Easter to celebrate a special birthday and we only had one week when we were both off at the same time. So we went for it- and booked Barbados. I had reservations- long flight and jet lag and by the time we had settled in it would be time to go home! I was wrong- we had a great time. Time doesnt fly as fast as you think it will. If you think about a fortnight- the first week passes at a reasonable speed as you get to know your resort, and then the second week just flies by. I have been to so many places that I would never have been to if we decided we didn't want to travel for a week only. Of course we don't have children so it is easier. So, if the only thing stopping you is the short time, then why not give it a go?
Since hubby retired recently that's just what I think.
, but not the journey to get there. We flew from Stanstead to Estonia - a 5 hour car journey, and as much as I'd love to go back - that car journey is putting me off.
Many of you know from my website and another place, that I had a cat called Sanji, sadly she died last Wednesday night. If you want to reply, please reply by pm so this topic doesn't go off topic and about me....I'm still fragile.
