I love this show, but it brings a lump to my throat each episode. Last night when Benny the cross Rotty who was afraid of men but finally found a new home made me want to cry bless him.
Then the week before poor Sparkle, who was skin and bone and nearly starved to death. But there was a happy ending here too as Sparkle recovered and found a loving home.
Our dog Gino is 20 years old and still going strong, sleeps a lot nowadays of course, but still won't let anyone park outside our house without him raising the alarm
I always have my tissues at the ready when watching it.
Last week I cried buckets when those tiny pups were born and would love one.
We dog sit for 2 families and have done for quite a few years and we love the dogs as if they were ours.
We are off to Icmeler next week and looking forward to visiting the dogs home run by a wonderful woman Janet who has a page on Face book Icmeler Animal Welfare.
They get cruelty cases in so I will be in flood of tears when I visit.
Speaking of dogs, our dog who is 20yrs old has suddenly decided he doesn't like Pedigree Chum or any other dog food. Only Earls dog food from - Aldi. He's leaving his Ped Chum to go dry in his dish but if you put the Earls down it's gone in a flash
He is only proving that the German supermarkets sell really good stuff.
I had to go again today Jay to stock up. Got some Earl's cans too for him to try as there isn't much in the pouches. I just can't believe how fussy he's got about what he'll eat.
