Fingers crossed for you Aslemma x
Thanks Fiona.
Good Luck - enjoy your holiday and I'm sure you can still raise a glass ! :-)
Oh yes indeed Anne though I can't cope with a cigarette at the same time.
I'm due back in Sousse on Monday week and have just had an e-mail from Alpha Rooms to say my hotel is closed! They have offered me an upgrade to a different hotel (reputedly 5*) or my money back. I don't want to cancel and have to start looking again but the new hotel (Orient Palace) is a lot further out than I really want so I've rung them today to see if they have any others nearer the Medina. What with this and my problems with A2B Transfers I'm starting to get stressed, so by the time I get there I'll need a holiday.
Have a good time and just relax.
Blimey Aslemma this holiday isn't going smoothly and you haven't even left the UK yet at least I know you will have a great time when you get there x
I've now got my new hotel and transfer vouchers and printed and laminated my luggage labels so it's 'all systems go' apart from deciding what to pack. I've been checking the weather forecast daily and it keeps changing, predicting less sunny days today than it did yesterday. At least it will be considerably warmer than here and being British I never travel without an umbrella.
Hope you have a good time, Aslemma. Have to say that I always have a folding umbrella in the bottom of my case!!!
I think most of us British do prawn. Even those who were never Boy Scouts or Girl Guides know that we must always be prepared.
Sadly, though, my umbrella is right next to my lace parasol !! And I can't even blame it on being in the Guides!! Take care of that arm and have a good time.
This is just to say that I'll be back in Sousse for a couple of weeks from 13th April and if anyone else is out there at the same time I'd love to meet up for a coffee (or something stronger). For once I managed to get an excellent flight with Thomas Cook for £112.48 from Stansted to Enfidha ([plus £38 luggage of course) so I decided to grab it and will sort out an hotel nearer the time.
we don't get to pek till the 12th may . would of been nice to have met up tho .
I hope you have a great time. Will it be your first time in Tunisia?
oh I will . NO its my 5th time I just love it, hubbie keeps saying we are goin to move there when he retires. im holding him to it. id love to live there lol
A Scottish friend is selling her penthouse apartment overlooking Menchia Beach at Hammam Sousse. Unfortunately it is out of my price range and although it is absolutely beautiful and has all mod-cons it only has one bedroom.
omg sounds lovely, but id need at least a 2 bedroom as ive got 2 grown girls plus 3 granddaughters between them . which im sure would love to come and stay at some point ,
Believe me Tammie it is lovely. You could always extend by building onto one of her two terraces, still leaving an uninterrupted view of the sea. I hope to be sitting on her terrace drinking cocktails in April and I'm sure you'll be with me in spirit.
oh I will lol. roll on may till we get away I need some sun on my back .
