Did anyone go to Tunisia during September and went with Thomas cook?
If so, was wondering if you got delayed? Because when we went, there were alot of delays to inbound and outbound flights to Tunisia and wanted to know why?
Our flight back to Gatwick on 30th was delayed by 2 hours, a Cardiff flight on the same day was delayed by 9..
When we eventually got on the plane, our pilot told us that some stairs had damaged a side of the plane and they had to change aircraft...and it put one of their planes out of action..
The delays were over a couple of days or so, and it wasnt just one airport in the UK, it was the majority of flights during the week that were getting delayed.
Would anyone be able to shed some light on this as to why all these delays happened?
There were a couple of technical issues within the fleet that lead to aircraft needing to cover other flights and knock on delays as a result. It wasn't just Tunisia flights that were delayed.

We did not go but my Sister in Law and our next door neighbour did flying from Manchester 7hour delay outbound 2 hour delay inbound and our neighbour the following week 24hrs inbound and they sent a Thomson Plane to bring them back.
