Normally we have a real tree however as we have a young grandaughter we have gone for an artificial tree this year.
The 7'6'' tree took me about 5 hours to erect
there are 400 lights on it including red cherry and LED snowing effect, apart from the lights there is also around 400 decorations on it including candy canes, small crackers, pine cones, baubbles, small bells that chime gently as you walk past, we have also added some small hanging chocolates which are being used as an advent calander by our 2 year old grandaughter Lucy.There are 2 hand made decorations that are 20 years old which were made and personalised for our 2 children and new this year is a decoration made from the hand print of Lucy which is painted to look like the face of Santa.
Not forgetting the santa express train running around the bottom
