Hi has anyone been to this hotel before? A friend of mine has booked to go in December. I know where it is (next door to Pretty Petals) but that's about it and i can't find anything on HT. Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers Tracy
Is this the one Tracy:-
Hi Glynis, yes that's the one. I found their webiste but was wondering if anyone had stayed there or have any feedback?
Just to let you know the hotel has been added on HT, here is the link,

Any luck in finding any more info on it?
Lisa
No not yet Lisa.....surely someone on HT has either been or knows someone who has
only info I can add is that we noticed it in Feb and thought that it looked nice from the outside and considered checking it out but never got around to it.
Received this reply from Bluesea this morning
The rates for 2014 are Rs 3000/- per room per night during Feb
The room is with all modern european facilities with 8 inch extra soft spring mattress. The room comes with AC, TV, Fridge & Locker. The use of swimming pool is free, which is sunny the whole day with deck beds.
Breakfast not included.
Bluesea beach resort is in the vicinity of numerous restaurants & is 5 mins walk to the beach.
Request to please revert with exact dates to check for availablility.
Thanks
Barreto

But for someone who is a bit more concerned with comfort it looks OK.
I guess also that there may be a discount for longer stayers.
My enquiry was for 4 weeks, so might be discounts for stays longer than 4 weeks, but like you it's a more
than we like to pay, i have replied to let him know, so will wait and see if he comes back with something lower
I will let you know if he does.
We have already booked for next year, Alexandras, but was just interested to see what others are charging for comparison.
Looked at Coqueral (sp) homes, around the corner from Silver sands, but standard rooms were rps4300 pn.
Lovely rooms with 4 poster beds and full breakfast was included but far too much for this tight fisted yorkshireman.

Damn, the Coqueral has changed a LOT since I stayed there (about 1984 I think). The first room we were given was awful, we did get moved eventualy.
I found this on another site hope it helps
*Admin edit. Have had to remove this content as it as taken from another site. Sorry.*

we fitting in a last minute trip visas valid till 21st april so we flying home 20th april
Thanks Cartman. We have just done the same thing and are back in Goa right now. The blue sea resort looks closed as all the gates ar padlocked. It looks very nice though but part of it is on the main road so if u were staying there I would ask for a room near the pool at the back to avoid traffic noise.
Came back on Saturday 23.03.2013, after a three week stay in the bluesea beach resort.I have to say that when you book off the internet, you don't expect the rooms to be better than the pictures, but they were. The room has all modern european facilities with 8 inch extra soft spring mattress. The room comes with AC, flat screen TV, Fridge & safe. The swimming pool which has a shower room & toilet block near by, which is sunny the whole day with sun loungers. There is a small kitchen area for your use.To top this, the room we stayed in ( 208 ) was spotless, as was the towels & bedding. The bed was like a super king size, the standard was amazing for Goa.We had a very good rate for the three weeks. If I was to find a fault, & I have to say its difficult, then perhaps a couple of draws to put your bits & bobs in the room would have been handy, but this is just being picky. We can highly recommend the hotel. We have been to the highland beach hotel 15 times, & the blue sea resort put it to shame.
Any questions I will be happy to answer.

Bit ominous that it appears closed with all the gates padlocked and Cartman is due there in a couple of weeks time?
