The stalls along the canal have gone but they are now at the bottom near the beach where the Bamboo used to be.
As the rents are double what they were on the canal there arent so many bargains and there is no atmosphere like what there was on the canal ,especially at night.

Perhaps it not a good idea to return. Has this is not good for the tourist. It's a shame. This has happend. It was a great night and very freindly. Atmosphere.

They still have the stalls but they are now newly built at the bottom of the canal.
Its still a great resort and excellent value for money and there are a lot of new shops around the resort with gifts and things the stall holder sold.
The underground market reopened this year and the big Wednesday market is still there.

My son and his girlfriend have just got back from Icemelar. He didn't say anything about the market, day or night, but he did pick up a nice pair of diamond earrings for his lady for £200. Today they took them to a local jewellers for a valuation for insurance purposes and were absolutely amazed to be told a value of £1,700.
