It's because of America, they won't allow you to have your boarding cards for security reasons until the day of your flights.

I've just been told by Thomson that we WILL be issued with our boarding cards for Mexico if we do the luggage drop the previous night- wish everyone would make their minds up!
That is interesting then!

I wanted top ask a quick question on this topic , i am dropping my bags the day before we fly to majorca , on the day i fly will i just have to proceed through security or will i have to go to a desk first , i already have the boarding cards , many thanks
You will be all right flying to Majorca - just go straight thru Security.
