I've been trawling through properties for months now and have sort of narrowed down to South Costa Blanca. I'm thinking of buying a holiday home/apt in the Villamartin area, with the potential to live full time eventually. Does anyone live here or offer any advice or other areas to purchase.

I would prefer a small house but everything seems to be apartments or townhouses. Do apartments/townhouses have high annual maintenance fees? Who does the upkeep for them to stop them falling into disrepair.

I also fancy a bit further south to Costa Calida - is there much difference between these areas.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
