You'll probably find that your TO will offer excursions to Trinidad and Santiago which are both worth a visit.

Not something I would normally do but we went swimming with dolphins but not in a concrete aquarium type park it was in a natural estuary,lagoon there were pens but constructed of open type wooden fencing which the staff said the dolphins were capable of leaping if they wished it was more of a conservation type atmosphere than an entertainment one. also visited Holguin city and the cigar factory.
