My mum returned from there two weeks ago and it was 1.11 Euro to £1.

It may have dipped a little due to the rates changing a little since then.

She did say though the rate they got their was slightly better than what she got here when buying some euros to take with her..

I went there almost two years ago, so I think many things have changed since then. Anyway, I can recommend you take a look at [table]
eur usd exchange rate[/table]and insert the currency you need (not usd obviously). I believe that's a reliable source and will be of some help.
