They are clamping down very hard on sickness claims due to lots of people making false accusations (I'm not saying you are), therefore they'll require lots of evidence to back your claim up & unfortunately, you don't seem to have any.
Diarrhea at the hotel. I emailed FC and got the standard reply how they maintained standards and there was no problems. That started a cain of emails each time FC denying there had ever been a problem - each time I said LOOK AT YOUR WEBSITE - took a month before they finally admitted there "had" been a problem but assuring us it was over. Off we went on holiday and my wife started with the Vomiting and Diarrhea. Reporeted to the rep who was really a waste of spce. She did make a report but when I approched FC on our return it was all denied. I did eventually spak with someone and expressed my disgust, we were not seeking compensation simply an apology.
Like yourself we take medication with us and after a couple of days all was well. My wife was not the only one to be taken ill whilst we were there. In future we shall call for medical assistance. report it to the rep and get a written acknowledgement and email FC (or whichever TO we go with)
