They have quite a bad reputation. Appartments not clean and some are in bad condition with much equipment broken or missing. Try doing a search on other sites and you will see what I mean

I have used costalets once, we had a three week holiday last october and had it quite cheap. When we arrived at the apartment it was clean and tidy, it wasnt until the next morning at 8.00am that we could understand why it was so cheap. The workmen were digging up all the floors in the landing, we was not told about the work before we went there. We got used to the noise after a while, so it didnt feel so bad. The apartment was very nice. We are going again with costalets next month for two weeks, i will let all know what the apartment was like when i get back.

http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk is an excellent rentals website. It covers pretty much the whole of the Costa Del sol and due to the amount of competition between landlords, the quality of the properties is often to a very high standard.

I also have heard very bad reports on costalets, friend of mine ninknamed the studio that she rented from them as 'the fridge'.
Benalets has a good reputation try them.. http://benalets.homestead.com/

Having stayed in various apartments throughout Benalmadena i get the impression that the condition is down to the owners, not necessarily Costalets. I've recently bought a beautiful studio in Minerva, through Costalets, who held my hand all the way through the complicated process, and i'm letting it through them. I intend keeping it as nice as i would like to find it as a hirer, but, still living in the UK it's going to be difficult keeping it up to scratch. I suppose it's hard for Costalets to carry out maintenance on all the properties in their catalogue, when most of the owners are still in the UK and probably sceptical about giving the agency the go-ahead to carry out repairs etc willy-nilly. Don't let one bad experience deny you the delights of a holiday in Benalmadena.

yes ,but costalets are responsible for the cleanliness of place,if they rent it out they are responsible for the cleaners, maybe they have taken on to many for their cleaners to do.my cleaner has let several apartments go in the past as she is proud of her reputation for a job well done, and all my clients always coment how clean my place is,it would be embaressing if i had a complaint of bad hygiene.you pay people to take care of your property so you want what you pay for or i,d say buy buy .
