Has anyone out there visited Sandy Balls in the New Forest. We are looking to stay there in either a static caravan or lodge with our children (age 10 and 13 ) in July. Is there much to do on site and whats the evening entertainment like.
Thanks.
Sorry, I've never heard of it.

We live in the same area of the country, and have called in several times on friends holidaying there. There are cabins to hire or a campsite where you bring your own gear. It's all laid out nicely. The facilities are good (hot showers etc) , there is an indoor heated swimming pool, and a playgroung for kiddies. Shop and bar/snacks etc. You can also walk down through the woods to open fields and a little river with ducks/swans. Haven't been there in the evening so don't know about the entertainment.
Lots to do in the area (New Forest, beaches etc) and Fordingbridge is a pretty town with a park and riverside pub, so I' m sure you'll have a great time.
They have been constantly improving the site and now boast some great facilities.
They do tremendous last minute deals too: some friends went last weekend, having booked it at the beginning of the week, and got a chalet for 8 people for 3 nights about £300 I think.
I looked at SB's a while back
and just for comparision I've just looked
If my wife and I went for 17 nights in September
it works out at £215
We are going to France and Spain in September for 17 nights for less
and it's a lot lot warmer where we are going
Rip off Britain again
