Hello I have been to the Dom/Rep and am thinking of going to Mauritius can any body who has been to both tell me if they think one is better than the other, I have been to Jamaica and thought this was better than the Dom/Rep, so are the standards better in Mauritius e;g on AI, rooms, drinks, entertainment and water sports.

I should say the standards would be higher in maurituis.
I was going to go here for my wedding in december. then we got told the tsunami hit it by the travel agent (which was a load of rubbish!!)
we then ended up booking dominican but im just as happy as the wedding has now been bought forward to july 18th
