hi weve been to son bou a few times now and always stayed in the son bou garden apartments i think the girasol apartments are at the far end of the resort which is still only about a ten minute walk to all amenities or u can catch the mini train they do look very nice though and son bou its self is such a lovely place .

Has anyone stayed at the Girasols Garden apartments recently . We will be going out there in about 5 weeks time. Any info about the complex or resort would be much appreciated, also does anyone know whether you can pay extra in order to keep your apartment on until you are ready to be collected for the airport as our flight home is not until 11pm and this can be quite a drag especially with an 8 month old baby!

Look forward to any advice or comments you may have.

Hi, how far are the apartments away from the beach and main resort centre? Also, is there a restaurant / bar within the complex itself? Is there a charge for using the facilities at the San Jamie complex i.e. waterslides and finally is there a microwave in the apartment?

Is there a charge for using the facilities at the San Jamie complex For using any of the pools, no. For using the waterslide, yes. Everyone pays for the waterslide.

is there a microwave in the apartment No, not in mine.

The apaertments are to the left of zone 5 (see picture below). You will need to walk back towards the Sol hotels to get to the beach or resort centre, this will take you about 15 - 18 mins at an easy pace. You can park a car right behind the beach if you have one.
