Has anybody stayed at the Es Apartments in Turunc? Can't find much info about them.

Its the best location in Turunc and ok there are steps up to it but the view from the terrace more than makes up for them.
We do have 6 websites at the moment but only 3 functional as yet as we are still trying to find the time to sort the others out.

Hi, the es apartments look good and when we were in turunc last year didn't stay in them but eat at the restaurant and that was brilliant. The staff were really friendly. It is up above the the harbour but we were told they would have a lift up to them this year, don't know if they have. We hope to go back to Turunc maybe next year and would stay in these apartments the views from the restaurant and apartments is fantastic.
ANATOLIAN SKY..are using these apartments as from 2005 but if you fancy staying there do yourself a great deal and book them through J.T. HUNDREDS of £££,s cheaper ... 3 of us are going in MAY for £112 between us for the week ... 
Also just an insider, ES Apartments, the E S stands for Emel Sayin who is an all time very famous Turkish singer. The apartments are owned by her nephew to my knowledge.

Hi Briars, You recommended the restaurant to me last year along with a few others and you were spot on with all of them. Like you we loved Turunc and Olu Deniz so I think we would like Bitez after reading your reports.

Has anyone been to Turunc lately and stayed at the es apartments ? I have seen them on Icmeler online and thought they looked nice.I'm toying with the idea of a week in sept/oct but hubby does'nt know yet so I'll need to work on it yet!! I thought Turunc looked nice too.just back recently from our first visit to Turkey(Bitez) and loved every second of it ,truly converted now.
any help would be welcome.Mel.

I see that you have already been given the link to my report. The aprtments are very clean and if you don't mind the climb the views are fantastic. But pleased be warned the steps even up the the lower of the blocks are very steep and a bit uneven so going down is quite challenging and going up after a few drinks even more so!! I know that Kingfisher stayed thre the same week as I did and her party were moved from the dizzy heights to a room in the main block So if you insist on a lower room when booking you should be Ok. The other thing is insist on a sea view as a few of the rooms higher up overlook the pool at the back of the apatments which is overshadowed by a huge concrete unfinished building Not a nice outlook Icmeleronline book the aprtments and will take account of any requests you make.

Forgot to say, the transfer if done privately took us between just over an hour (on arrival) and 1 and a half hours(departure but had to pick up several other parties in Icmeler.
I think Kingfisher went back to Turunc on her second visit to Turkey this year and stayed in the Burak apartments which she said were good

Thanks for the info,I really fancy Turunc now, I would also like to visit akyaka because it's high on my list for next year.I'm going to go and get some reviews on the other accomodation mentioned now mind you I still have'nt told hubby yet I think I'm becoming obsessed now!

I would say to be sure to ask for the main block and be aware that not only are there a lot of steps but even those up to the main building as very steep and a bit uneven. I wouldn't fancy attempting them after a few to many drinks! Just let me know if you ave any other questions

We have been looking at the Es apartments, YES i know they are up a lot of steps, are thet nice, believe the ones at back pretty grotty, they look ok but you never know.
Now I am one who does not let the accomadation spoil the holiday, but some of the comments are pretty drastic, Help
