It certainly is cheaper and of course, there's always a good reason!

It's not my idea of a place to go for my holidays. Not very pretty and a bit tacky. Property will always be more expensive in the popular areas like PDLA and LC, as it's much easier to rent out.

Its such a lovely name, but not much of a resort. Having said that, I enjoyed being there for the day as its much more of a local's place. Beach was very rocky, property looked older, although there seemed quite a bit of developement going on.

We looked at Silencio but agreed it was a bit tacky, settled on Golf del Sur which we like very much.

You will here from others (who dont live there) that aircraft noise is a problem. It is only if you are directly under the flightpath that you will notice it, and by the way the noise from vehicle traffic is negligible. Consider the Aquamarina apartments and El Nautico. We found the people at Tenerife Property Shop to be very good.
