Just read your posting. First of all, you will love Paleokastritsa. I was there in July 2003, Im in my 30's and I fell hook line and sinker for the place. We stayed in Anemona Apartments on a last minute deal. If you go to Corfu in the reviews, you should find my review.
I was there a week, and I chilled out, it was so beautiful, if you get the chance to go out in the water in a boat......Go!!! We saw deserted beaches, caves etc. I will be back thats for sure. When I booked the travel agent asked if I wanted typical Grece or Blackpool in the heat....I chose Typical Greece and thats what I got.
Many pictures for Corfu are taken here, as it is so picturesque.
