I found out on a review site that the hotel I am going to in Port El Kantaoui - Tunisia [Marhaba Palace] is undergoing renovations that are intrusive. The noise is heard on the 2nd flor and the main restaurant(and waiter service) is not available.
This was yesterday 11th April and we travel on the 17th.
FC today said the resort has stated there is no intrusion to holidaymakers despite me supplying the reviews, dated March 05.
Is the renovations and withdrawal of facilities a breach of contract?
ANyone been there recently to confirm, or hopefully deny the problem?

I went to the Diar El Andolous in Port El Kantoui last summer, I know it wasn't recent. But we saw the Mahaba Palice and it was BEAUTIFUL!
If, when you arrive there, there IS building work going on there, that you where not informed of, it is your right to move free of charge! People moved from ours because the kids' club advertised wasn't there. So I am sure that you will be able to move if there is intrusive work.
Dont worry about it, if worse comes to worse, there are other 5* hotels in Port El Kantoui including:
The Diar El Andalous.
Melia El Mouradi Palice
I was in the Diar el Andalous, and it was brilliant. We spoke to a family who stayed in the mouradi paice, and they said it was also fantastic!
