Don't know this particular hotel but can tell you about the local area and what's to see/do.
It's in Kiotari, an area of similar hotel developments. The nearest resorts are Lardos and Pefkos. Pefkos is a purpose built resort with a good beach and popular with families. Lardos is a typical greek village, just inland of the coast road and has a pleasant square with a handfull of bars/restaurants. There's an excellent beach, though the name escapes me (the first you come to travelling south of Lardos), beautiful spot and never overly crowded.
Lindos is a short bus/taxi ride away and is well worth a visit. Go during the day if you wish to visit the Acropolis but for a pleasant walk around the village go after 6 - when all the daytrippers are gone.

Thanks so much for your reply.....really helpful, I'm booking now...Lindos sounds just what I'm looking for, the mix of local culture and uncrowded beaches. Thanks again!

Lindos Princess is in Lothiarika (between Lardos and Pefkos - actually nearer to Lardos) It is part of the same group that have the Princess hotels in Kiotari but is a new development (3rd year)
Very well laid out. Right on the beach. Loads to do in the complex (pools / health club / kids club / animation) and quite close to Lindos / Lardos / Pefkos for something different.
The hotel is used mainly by italian / german / polish / greek- There are quite a few english but the balance of nationalities depends entirely on the time of year.

Hi, I've just come back from the Lindos Princess (09-07-05). What can I say, it is a lovely hotel, but it lacks atmosphere, as with most all inclusives the food does not change much fron day to day, and is also more to the German taste than the English, the childrens activities are excellent if your child is fluent in German. There is absolutly nothing to do apart from relax by the pool or beach, the resort has two very small bars, 3 supermarkets and a couple of places to eat (that's it). Beware when booking; some web sites show the twin room with a partition, this is NOT the case!!. All in all Rhodes is a lovely island the Lindos Princess is a nice hotel, but it's not in Lindos (about 10Km away) & it's realy for Germans.:(

The island of Rhodes is a real treasure - so much I bought a home on my first visit.

As for Lindos Princess - just down the road for me - it is DEFINITELY not where I would choose to take my family ( try a hotel nearby - Atrium Palace ). We often head to Atrium Palace for a realaxing day in their lush, tropical gardens.

The hotel was financed by TUI germany and built to their specs. It is the ideal holiday for any German - blaring techno music, gay bartenders, drinks / food that you cater to Germans.

Give this one a pass - but not the island - after three seasons ( plus balmy Christmases ) there, my family is still not bored with the place!! One note about Rhodes - there is so much to see on the island that a car is a MUST have to do your visit justice.
