Hi
Family of 5 travelling very end of June to French Alps would be interested in any advice have done quite a few trips to France but never this far!!
Planning to stay overnight near Dijon.
Also planning a day trip to Geneva any do's and donts?
Any advice most welcome

Hi - if you scroll down the topics there is one title summer holiday in the alps where I made a couple of suggestions - depends where in the alps you are going as well - we've been to Annecy and Serre Chevalier, but they are quite far apart. Just ask if you've any specific questions.
There is a site called Lac du Panthier at Vandeness which is not far from Beaune if you are looking for a nice site to stop on the way down. It is next to a lake where you can swim, has a decent restaurant and bar and is only a few minutes off the motorway.
