I wouldn't think of going to Rosas in the winter or anywhere on the Costa Brava. We have been a bit further south around Parafrugel a couple of times in the last 2 weeks in August. The second week it's been like someone throwing a switch, cardies for the evening!!!!

My parents have been to Rosas in September. The sea was "choppy" and they had quite a few wet & windy days.

Hi all, we`re just back from staying in Santa Margarita in the Bay of Roses. What a place!!!! Superb beaches and not a English/Irish theme pub in sight, just local resturants which serve great food and have friendly staff.
We took are 2 children (12 & 9) and they didn`t want to come back. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment (it had a bed settee as well) which had a comunal pool and was situated in a residental area amongst the canals that the area is famous for.
But why oh why the the tour operaters don`t use this resort i will never know,then again if they did i guess it would become another llorett or Benidorm so maybe it`s not a bad thing!!
One thing i do know is i`ll be going back!!!!

english tour operators? Wouldnt mind seeing it advertised up here too!

Sounds nice though! Maybe best it stays relatively unadvertised, mate .... if it starts getting too many Brits going, there will be a McDonald's and a half dozen Red Lion pubs before you know it! Got any pics of the place, or links to pics?
