thats great thanks
not bothered about a beach as I always end up with a nasty rash.
Only 12 days to go.
Will give a full report on the area and hotel when I get back.
Well, I'm just back from this fantastic hotel! What can I say?? I have posted a review but can't really do it justice. Everything was just fantastic, but bear in mind, it was very quiet. It did start filling up a bit more our last couple of days with more British families. The staff cannot be faulted in any way. The only downside is the surrounding area and the resort but I more or less knew what to expect thanks to all who answered my queries. Only one thing left to say I can't wait to go back!!
I am actually quite worried that this will ruin my holiday with excessive noise and dust etc.
If anyone has recently been and knows anything about this construction work i would appreciate any information you have!!!!
As long as you are by the pools you never took any notice of the building going on.
I hope that you understood everything. If you have any moore questions you can email me on ********
Have a great trip.

Many thanks
Michelle
Thanks Michelle, it's just the price seemed very reasonable for an "All inclusive" price but I think i need to look elsewhere
Hope you had a good holiday at the Dunas - my family are going out there on the 13th Oct for 2 weeks any info would be great. I've read some bad reports about this hotel - starting to get worried.
Cheers
RM
I had a fantastic week at dunas paraiso, i was reading the reviews before i went and was also getting worried as no one seemed to anything good to say but personally i cannot fault the hotel at all. it was beauitiful, the decor is stunning, the hotel is spotlessly clean my room was kept clean by the army of cleaners every day, the pool areas are also very clean (there are two big pools and one baby pool) and there are plenty of sunbeds as long as you get to the pool in the AM after lunch they have usually all been taken, the entertainment for the kids is great (i do not know first hand as i went alone) but you saw the animation team rounding the kids up and then you didn't really see them till dinner, the food was lovely all buffet style and plenty to choose from, i would say try to get there as it opens though as the later you leave it the food obviously gets cold as any would when sitting out for a couple of hours, i always got to dinner for 7pm and had hot food every night, there is a theme restaurant that does alternate nights of italian and chineese you are entightled in AI to have a meal there but you have to book your night at reception. it is out of the way and not alot about but 10 minutes walk away you will find a few shops and bars but my rep had a load of days and nights out you could go on....i went to loro parque which was a brilliant day out really enjoyed it cost 45€.
do not use the lobby bar though as this bar is not included in your AI and you will have to pay for your drinks there, the pool bar is free as is the disco bar. the disco opens around ten with a show (i saw the snake show which was brilliant) and then after the show they put on the music and everyone has a dance....this closes at 12pm.
i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
If you have any specific questions about the place please ask i will try to answer for you!
i hope you enjoy it there as much as i did and have a great holiday!!!

Thanks for the reply - hotel sounds good. I've saw some photos of the hotel and it does look fab. We have a 2 bedroomed villa as there are 5 of us going and I believe it has a seaview - which will be great. Only 10 weeks to go - although haven't thought about it too much as we are off to Zante on 6th August for 1 week. Have you been there?
Cheers
RM
No never been Zante so i'm afraid cannt tell you anything about there!!!!
I saw the villas they are down right by the pools and do have a sea view the theme restaurant was near those!!
you will have a great time on both holidays i'm sure!
i'm now looking forward to Turkey in september!!!
going there in July 2007
What is the the Complex like, the Beach, surrounding area and of course the food, drink etc.
Any info would be very much appreciated
Can anyone advise me what the difference between a Suite and a Villa (2 bedroom).
I was looking for more room as my son is 11 years old and think he is getting too big for sleeping on a sofa.
Thanks
The villas are just that, a separate villa. more like a small bungalow not joined to the main hotel blocks. The suites are all within the main blocks but are very well equipped They all have a living room area with sofa beds. Toilet. and a separate bedroom with en-suite/bathroom. I think most have patio doors from the bedroom and the living area onto a large balcony.
