Stayed there in May - hotel great , location great, wish i was going back.

ps get the water taxi to sainta ellulia - that is such a nice place , we are going to stop there next time.

cala llonga pretty quiet compared to san an and playa den bossa. nice though with a clean beach. lots of 'hotel entertainment' goes on at the playa dorada if you like that kind of thing, might be a little young for your 14 year old but she's bound to make loads of mated there.

The Dorada is one of only four hotels in the resort and is adjoined to one of the others, the Imperial, as they are actually sister hotels. You will have access to all facilities of both hotels.

I haven't stayed in the hotel as I have a timeshare in the resort, but I have to say I've never heard anyone complain about it in the 23 years I've been going there.

The resort is small and safe with an excellent beach which is safe for swimming as you can go out 50 yards and the water will only be above waist height.

Don't be afraid to go out of the hotel and sample the local bars as there is something for everyone, from typical English bars, (La Cantina & Up 'n' Inn), to bars which don't get busy until midnight and close around 5:00 / 6:00am, (Blues Cafe / Raffles)

We are there from the 16th to the 23rd (again), staying next door in the Imperial, so will just miss you. It will probably be pretty quiet.

oh I dont mind quiet or noisy Im there to recharge, Im more concerned about our daughter, being 14, its a funny age lol.

As long as your daughter likes the beach, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, pedaloes, water polo, air rifle shooting, pubs, restaurants, club singers, reps games, water parks, shopping, fun fairs, pool, ice cream etc. etc. she should be ok.
