Had a great holiday in Dom Rep June 04. Will post hotel report later.
Many have been worried by reports of floods and earthquakes. We toured from Sousa in North to Santo Domingo in south no problems. We enjoyed the Monster Truck Trip which included swiming in river after lunch and crossing many rivers no problems.
Many weather forcasts show rain every day in Dom Rep we had rain one evening and last day only. That is we had 13 days of hot sunshine and were glad to rest under the palm trees by whirlpools.
Delighted by good weather, beautiful scenery, friendly people everywhere, would go again if the price was right.
There are no climate worries for tourists at present.
