the last time we went was july/august it was very hot but in the afternoon you got these high winds but it didn`t put anybody off there holiday and the wind had gone by the time the evening came around

we went to Rhodes in aug 2003 cant say i remember it being windy unlike Kos which was a bit beezy in the afternoons not a problem though quite nice

Rhodes can be very windy on the one side of the island. If there's any wind in July/August trust me, it'll be very welcome.

Rhodes can be windy but it is definitely needed when it's baking hot....the east side of the island seems to get it most esp Rhodes Town, if you're a beach bunny, might be best to find a more sheltered beach near the Aquarium in Rhodes Town otherwise you might be sandblasted.....not as bad as Lanzarote though, had to get off that beach near Puerto del Carmen after 5 minutes! 8)

I have been to Rhodes in July and any breeze was very welcome with temperatures of hundred degrees plus every day :)
