There is a thread on finding ATMs HERE
Ady
Thanks, but it didnt really help me locate any :s it just had one in Laganas... im staying in the Christina Apartments, can anyone who can tell me for sure, if they are within walkin distence of my hotel.
There is a bank at the junction of the Kalamaki Road and Zante road, but it gets very busy.
Ok thanks, i dont know whether to risk taking £300 worth of €'s out to Zante.. or take half that and use the cash point... DILEMA!! lol
I always take sterling and find a safe deposit box. Most hotels will let you use their facilities, and you will get a far better rate for your money.
Thanks for your responce, i have just got all my money out an dwill try and find out if there is a safe.
The waiter at the first taverna you visit will know where you can use the facilities and might even help by asking. They're all very friendly and only too willing to help.
hey me an 5 m8s are stayin at the perkes in laganas from the 17th of july for 2 weeks whats the nightlife like? is all the bars spread out from each other? music? perkes hotel?cheers
Please do not use phone style text, eg m8s instead of mates, as this is not allowed as per the T&C's. Future posts will be deleted.
Hi,don't know your hotel but the bars are on like a 'strip' which runs down to the beach-been to Malia or Faliraki? There are some lively bars which go on well into the morning,im sure you'll enjoy it!Have fun.Oh! Go and look for the turtles on a trip,I thought it was lovely to see them
Hi, thinking of goin zante beginning of september with my g/f. Can anyone tell me is it gonna be full of mostly 18 yr olds or is the age range more varied???
We went at the beginning of October and there was a wide mixture of age groups there. We stayed in Alikes.
thanks, was hoping to hear about laganas specifically as this is the largest resort and the one id probably be going to to.
i went to Laganas about 5 years ago and loved the place. It will probably still have youngsters there, but its nothing like Ayia Napa or Ibiza.
I went 3 years on the trott and also worked out there. The people are really friendly and the beach is really nice to chill out on.
Hope this helps!!
Enjoy!!

just come back from ayia napa couple of weeks ago myself and didnt find it too young although it was right at the start of the season so i guess zante should be fine from what you say. As for ibiza, thats on the cards for next year....
We went to Laganas a couple of years ago and found it a mixture, we were never in town after 12, this is when I believe things start to get a bit wild, but it really isn't a massive place like other party places. Lots for families also. We were 29 & 34 at the time
Now i have that wrapped up i can look at booking something.....
Have a good time
sorry i have to disagree. laganas especially is predominantly 18 to 25 i'd say. i go to zante regularly and it is the place for club 18 - 30 holidays at the moment. great place. let your hair down amnd fun. beautiful island. if you dont fancy laganas then i would not go any where else on zante as they are quiet and abit to quiet if you like the main resorts
I agree with Greenshoes - Lived in Laganas for 16 years. 8 years agao I would have said it was a mixture. Now its more 18 - 23 year olds rolling out of bars p***** . Again in agreement with Greenshoes other resorts in Zante are quiet, why not look at Santorini or Skiathos. Rhodes has some good stuff too
