Stayed in Kalamaki at the end of May beginning of June and done the island tour. Every resort we passed through had horse and carriage rides going about. They are still widly available, though pricey. Never used them, but was told that it was €15 to go from one end of Kalamaki to the other. A taxi is only €5.
That is a bit pricey will stick to taxis. Thanks
Laurence
Alykanas was where I was thinking of. Cool.
Returned from Tsilivi on 12 June and there were horse and carriages there. They were not free though!
Hi Mari, Alykanas is fantastic. We stayed at the Alykanas Village Hotel. All the horses and carts gathered at the bottom of the drive leading up to our hotel. Look out for the driver who thinks he's George Michael
