Hi we are going to Anaxos in September theres some information about Lesvos on http://www.greekisland.co.uk/ heres a write up on the appartments you have chosen I visited Chrisoula in August 2001 with my husband and sons aged 13 & 17.

The studios were immaculate, well maintained and well equipped by Greek standards. They are situated a mere 3 minute walk from the beach and other local shops, bars and cafes. They are set back just off the road so noise doesn't seem to be a problem

The owners live on site in this small block of 12 studios and are very friendly and helpful.

The pool was excellent and never crowded with the owner taking great care in maintaining what is obviously his pride and joy. Plenty of loungers and brollies for everyone!

I would certainly recommend the studios and the resort for a relaxed, family holiday with plenty of good cheap food and things to see.

There is a snack bar serving from breakfast till bedtime.

We have been visiting Anaxos twice a year for the past 4 years. I can throughly recommend the resort to anyone wanting a relaxing break. If you can, rent a small car and explore the island.

Just to say thankyou to all who replied me, you have been most helpful. It is now only three weeks until I am there in Anaxos, cant wait now. Will report when we get back (dont want to think about that though)!
