Hi. We have stayed at Villa Papas every year for the last four years. It is truly my favourite holiday destination. Very basic apartments but the owners, Christos and Marta and their son Vassili more than make up for any shortfalls in comforts. Lutmilla (cleaner/general dogsbody) is the lovliest of people and will look after you really well. We were there this year in June and cant wait to return. Please give our love to Christos, Marta and Lutmilla when you go. The beaches on Skiathos are lovely and there are something like 66 of them on the island. Thoroughly recommend Kolios beach and the Sand Bar for lunches, drinks etc. Evening meals dont get better than at Villa Stathis, next door to the apartments.
