During the years I have been a resident here I have heard of how Valletta was full of life in the evenings years ago. I have lost count of the number of times I have heard the story of how a young Tom Jones (yes, apparently that Tom Jones) used to sing at Pjazza Regina, this was a bit before my time though

I will enjoy sampling a taste of "the old days" this summer.
Pjazza Regina is the square with the tables and chairs, and the statue of Queen Victoria at the centre, at the side of the Palace.
