We've been to Rhodes and Santorini in late September and both were lovely and sunny.
Also a bit quieter than high season so we had a great time

Southern Spain will be hot still. But my vote would go to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt where it will be baking if thats what you are after!

If you do fancy Turkey and want advice on which of the many resorts to go to would suggest you post in the Turkey forum where one of the many "experts" will be able to assist.
is that hot enough for you.
i would definatly sayeither turkey or egypt. egypt is hot all year round and sept is the best time to go to both turkey and egypt i have heard!
sorry me again let us know what you choose!
Anywhere in Greece, you can't go wrong.
Definately Cyprus for me, you'll love it!
thanks for all the quick replies, well i havent decided yet have never been to turkey or cyprus so will look into them,i love greek islands but would like to try turkey, i have just returned from tunisia which was fab we took the kids as i find its more of a family place, as i am going with just the hubby this time i want some bars and restaurants, a bit of nightlife so anymore ideas from anyone will be great. does anyone know if turkey is as cheap as tunisia, boy did i have a great time shopping out there has anyone ever done a last minute deal, not sure whether to get it booked or wait and maybe get a good deal.
cheers

I've looked at a few weather websites for you, the Red Sea is probably the hottest short-haul destination at that time of year.
If something comes along in the meantime you can always book, or even do a DIY holiday. The hotel prices start to drop after the "silly season".
Best of luck whatever you decide,
Robby
It will still be warm further north, but can get very rainy too, we went to Corfu in September one year, and it rained 8 out of the 14 days.
yes i 'd deffinately consider the red sea. good weather nearly all year round and the sea is lovely and warm too. medot.xx
Cyprus, Cyprus and Cyprus!
Been to Crete in October and it was scorching, so September should be pretty warm.
Deffinitely Malta, sunny and warm often up to November and beyond, when we were there early December last year it was really warm just like a summers day, yet we last went in February this year and it was almost artic weather.
As Kath said
Tenerife of Gran Canaria. I spent yrs visiting the canaries as my husband was unable to take a holiday during the summer months and the weather in the canaries never let us down.
Hard to choose between the 2.
I loooooooove the Canaries (going to Bulgaria this yr and half wishing I was going back to old ground!)
Whatever you decide have fab time and be sure to come back and let us know what you decide on!
this year im going to turkey for the first time in september
and from reading the turkey forum i cant wait, sounds fantastic.
