We went on one of those organised trips a few years ago so can't remember the price & probably higher now. But they really are well worth it. We took the one into Barcelona, football stadium, Sagrada Familia, La Rambla. We enjoyed it so much we went for a 4 night break in Barcelona in April 05. We never got to see the fountains but may return in the future.

Reps trips are OK if you want everything done for you, but they can be a bit restrictive (time wise) and expensive.

There is a lot of very good advice on this page relating to independant travel to the city (especially by train) and getting about when you are there.

Just back and done that trip, first to the nou camp stadium then onto another part of barcelona then onto the fountains i think it was 31 euro for an adult and well worth it, the trip i think started at 2pm and we never got back till close to midnight but the fountains are well worth it.

Our reps charged 43€ for an adult and 29€ for a child. We discovered getting the train and 4 lots of taxi's as well as meals cost us 100€ instead of the reps wanting 144€. It meant we could do things ourself without being at the mercy of other people etc. The nou camp tour is 9€ and you can pay for pics to be done inside. The train was cheap too.

Apologies for missleading but the barcelona trip was €41 and not 31€ as previously stated by me

we saw advertised a trip to nou camp and the fountains for 24.90 euro on bus stops and people was giving us leaflets that one got back after midnight. we went to the zoo and nou camp with first choice reps it cost 53euro each. it cost 10euro if you want your photo taken with the big cup. we went on monday and got back from salou last night
